We want to begin by saying, “Thank You”! We at Fayette Pregnancy Resource Center are abundantly grateful for your partnership with us in bringing life, hope, and the good news of Jesus Christ to women and their families. You are in our prayers, and we pray that God will bless you through your service of giving.
If you missed it in our last newsletter, we are excited to announce that we will be expanding our ministry next year by taking our services out into the community via our Mobile Medical Unit. Since becoming a medical clinic in 2014, we have had a part in saving the lives of over 100 babies. However, during a three year period from 2014-2016, over 500 women who live in Fayette county chose to abort their babies. Neighboring counties where abortion clinics are located, where women could be served by our mobile unit, have dramatically higher abortion rates. We need to reach more abortion-minded women with the truth that life is precious and they are not alone!
Save the Storks® partners with pregnancy centers across the country to facilitate the development and success of mobile medical ministries. Save the Storks® will assist our center in designing a unique, customized, state-of-the-art “Stork Bus” equipped to allow us to provide pregnancy testing and ultrasound services anywhere in the community. An ultrasound is incredibly vital in showing a woman the life inside her. Many times I (Niki) have seen the looks of surprise, the audible gasps, and the tears that flow when a woman sees her baby’s heartbeat and realizes that her baby is real and alive. These images lead many women to choose life for their baby.
Countless women and their families are loved, supported, and equipped for parenting at our Center. We want to draw more families to our Center, and we believe that going mobile will allow us to spread the good news about our services by becoming more visible in the community. The treasures of God that we have to share – hope, life, love, and freedom in Christ— should not be confined to the walls of our Center. We have a commission from God to “Go”.
We can’t do this alone! We need your continued partnership and support to forward the work of His kingdom. Please consider making a special gift to go directly to purchasing and operating our “Stork bus.” Of course, prayers are vital to our mission. Please consider adding this new mission to your church, small group, or other community prayer chain.
Also, we are eager to spread the word. If you or someone you know would like to know details about our Mobile Medical Unit, please contact us. We would love to share our vision with you and what is needed to bring this project to life.
