On February 6th Loren Williams, Community Relations Coordinator delivered lunch to Midwest Food Bank volunteers as a special thank you for their monthly donations to the center. Loren is pictured with Lisa Lowther, operations manager.
On February 6th Loren Williams delivered gifts to five counselors at the five county high schools in honor of National School Counselor week.
On February 8th Loren attended a grant award luncheon where we were blessed with a donation by GA Baptist Healthcare Ministry Foundation for the ultrasound machine for our Mobile Medical Unit.
On February 21st Niki Garner, Nurse Manager, taught a breast feeding class to three moms in our Earn While You Learn program. Participants learned about the value and benefits of breastfeeding as well as some techniques that could help them with successful breastfeeding.
On February 23rd Luci spoke to the women’s ministry group at Peachtree City Church of Christ and enjoyed learning more about their group while everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch. Luci is shown with Christy McCullough and Leigh Ann Stone, leaders of the ladies group called Becoming.
On February 25th six of our ten staff members enjoyed a staff outing thanks to a special designated gift from Save the Storks. We enjoyed dinner at Mellow Mushroom and each got to create a special wall hanging at Board and Brush in PTC.
On February 26th five moms attended a Child Safety Class taught by Nicole Pittman, RN, and volunteer at FPRC. Participants learned about car seat safety, SIDS, and other basic child safety tips.
On February 28th I-58 Mission hosted a special shopping day for the families of our Center to get extra items for their babies, as well as food and clothing for other family members. We appreciate the partnership of I-58 as we serve the families in our community.
