On April 5th, Luci Hough spoke to the Fayette-Starr’s Mill Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Luci shared various testimonies of clients which demonstrated how the services of Fayette Pregnancy Resource Center have a positive impact on women in our community. Luci was joined by Heather Laba and enjoyed introducing Heather to the group as our new assistant director. We are grateful for the invitation from Brenda Kendall to share with this wonderful audience.
On April 25th – Heather and Loren (Community Relations Coordinator) attended the monthly Fayette FACTOR meeting. Paige Moh with Piedmont Fayette spoke about county health trends and their programs. The founder of In Ryan’s Name shared about the services they offer to help youth that are facing drug addiction. Drug Free Fayette also provided current substance abuse statistics for our county. Finally, a representative with a production company told us about the Southside Living channel that can feature nonprofits.
