On August 5th, Luci Hough, Executive Director of Fayette PRC, shared her testimony with the gathering of Women at the Well. This is a monthly in-person meeting and is also attended by women across the US on Zoom. Luci emphasized the ministry of Abortion Recovery Support at Fayette Pregnancy Resource Center. On August 12th, Luci was invited by Phyllis Avrit, Co-Founder of Fayette PRC, to attend the Life and Legacy Experience with Trudy Cathy White at the home of Trudy’s parents, Truett and Jeannette Cathy. Luci and Phyllis were joined by Heather Laba, FPRC Lead Peer Counselor, for an interesting and inspiring day. It was great to reconnect with Bonnie Wozniak, Founder and Executive Director of Pathway Network, and share this day with others from Pathway. On Monday, August 23, volunteer client advocate, Annella Brannan shared at the Flat Creek Baptist ladies luncheon. She shared about her experiences volunteering at the Center and the ladies from the church brought some diapers and wipes, as well.
On Wednesday, August 25, Luci enjoyed a lunch meeting with fellow ministry directors Beau Sides (Global Partners in Life), Bryan Kaiser (God’s Eyes), and Cathy Berggren (Real Life Center). After leading Real Life Center for over twenty years, Cathy shared her plans to retire by the end of this year. She will be missed, not only by everyone at RLC but also by her friends at Fayette PRC.
