On February 2nd several representatives from Clothes Less Traveled came by the Center for a tour. We have been blessed to receive grants from Clothes Les Traveled several times over the past few years and appreciate their partnership.
On February 28th, three participants completed a Child Safety Class and earned a brand new car seat through Safe Kids Fayette. We are thankful for the partnership of Safe Kids Fayette and Debbie Straight, presenter.
In February six parents completed the Tony Evans parenting curriculum “Raising Kingdom Kids” with center volunteer Holli Redlich. Participants received a brand new crib and mattress.
On February 16th, Niki (Nurse Manager), taught a class on breastfeeding.
On Monday, February 27th we had the privilege of hearing from Lou Koons, Armed Forces Mission, when he taught a group of our staff and volunteers (as well as other members of the community) about Suicide Intervention and how we can help someone who may be considering suicide.
