On April 13th, Rod Chavez, from Heritage Foundation came by the Center for a tour. We are grateful for Heritage Foundation and the grant they provide to purchase carseats for the families who attend our Child Safety Class. Rod is pictured with Loren Williams, Community Relations Coordinator.
We are thankful for the partnership of Harps Crossing Baptist Church and for the special assistance provided by several deacons of the church who volunteered to assist one of our clients with a special need. “S” was facing several challenging circumstances and ended up moving into a facility that will hopefully help her with her needs but needed to move her belongings into storage. We are so grateful for Harps for coming alongside “S” to help with this specific need and to help fund the storage of her items until she is able to find more permanent housing.
