On February 7 and 8 Tony Novak and Phil Herrington represented our Men’s Mentoring at the Harp’s Crossing Men’s Conference. We are grateful for the opportunity to have a display table and participate in the event.

On February 11-12 Luci Hough and Niki Garner attended the Mobile Intensive, advanced training offered in Colorado Springs by Save the Storks for their partner pregnancy centers.

Nicole Pitman, RN, conducted our Child Safety Class on February 12th. Attendees were awarded a new car seat.

Luci and Randy Hough attended the Family Policy Alliance (FPA) dinner on February 15th. Cole Muzio, President of FPA, worked tirelessly for the passage of the Heartbeat Bill in Georgia. Luci was excited to visit with Suzanne Guy, pro-life speaker and volunteer at HOPE Center in Woodstock. Those attending from Fayette County joined Suzanne for a picture. Sen. Marty and Debbie Harbin, Randy and Luci, Bill and Nancy Bonner, and Judge Bob and LeGay Ruppenthal.

 

We were blessed to have Pastor Josh Saefkow from Flat Creek Baptist Church speak to our group at Fayette PRC on February 19th. Dr. Saefkow is serving on the committee that will make recommendations for the Health and PE curriculum for Fayette County Schools. He was joined by Judi Wilson, also a member of the committee, and Noelle Kahaian of Protect Student Health.

 

Luci Hough visited with Beacons of Hope Sunday School class of New Hope North on February 21st. Beacons of Hope have supported our Center in many ways for years, and on this occasion they showered us with baby gifts.

 

Luci Hough spoke to the Apologetics Class at First Baptist Church Peachtree City on February 26th and was excited that one of the attendees expressed interest in volunteering!
