On June 3rd, Loren picked up the second half of a donation of storage containers from Home Depot Peachtree City. These will be used to keep the off-season baby clothes fresh and clean until they are needed by the families we serve. Kaniesha is pictured with Community Relations Coordinator Loren Williams and she was a huge help. We also appreciate store manager Larry Wilson for approving the donation.
Thank you for the donation of baby blankets from Shirley Avery and Project Linus. We love giving out baby blankets to every mom who comes for an ultrasound!
Due to Covid-19 precautions, our activity in the Center and around the community was limited in June. However, we did welcome Rod Chavez, Executive Director of Heritage Community Foundation, to our Center on June 25th. After a tour with Loren Williams, our Community Relations Coordinator, he met with Luci and other staff members and volunteers. We are grateful to be grant recipients of Heritage Community Foundation and appreciate the positive comments by E.D. Chavez.
