• On January 7th, Luci attended the meeting of the Quilters Guild of the Southern Crescent to share about our Center and thank the quilters for their support. We are grateful for their beautiful quilts that are presented to the moms who have an ultrasound at our Center. These gifts are treasured by our clients!   • On January 10th, Luci attended the meeting for Executive Directors at Midwest Food Bank (MFB). We are blessed to partner with MFB and receive food items for our clients.

    On January 13th, Pastor Jimmy Kinnaird, Mission Strategist with the Fairburn Baptist Association, visited our Center and spent time with Luci Hough and Phil Herrington. Pastor Kinnaird was excited to hear about our Men’s Mentoring Program and is working with Phil to spread the word about Men’s Mentoring and our need for male volunteers to churches in the Fairburn Baptist Association. Jimmy’s personal mission statement is “to help God’s people discover the riches of who they are, what they may become and what they can do through the transforming power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.” Amen!

  • On January 24th, our Center welcomed guest speaker, Jeff, for a great training session on building relationships with Muslim clients.
  • On January 19th Niki Garner and Phil Herrington spoke at Flat Creek Baptist church about the sanctity of human life.
  • On January 23rd, Phil Herrington spoke at Woolsey Baptist Church at both services and during their Sunday school hour explaining how the Center serves our community and or need for volunteers (especially men!)
