- On July 11th, Loren (Grant Coordinator) represented the FPRC at the Clothes Less Traveled Nonprofit Volunteer Day. We appreciate the services the provide for our community – grant funding, educational seminary, non=profit fairs, non-profit events, and more. We are grateful recipients of funding through the CLT grants. Over 83 volunteers from 25 different nonprofits showed up to lend a hand at their volunteer day.
- Project Linus continues to give us amazing blankets. The three below are heirloom quality – hand wade with cross stick added. Thank you Project Linus!
- On July 21st Angela (Director of Operations) and family visited Life Choices Pregnancy Center of WNC in Bryson City, NC and were honored to be able to bring some items from our own Blessing Boutique to bless their Center (in operation for just over one year and moving into a new facility soon).
- On July 31st, Heather (Executive Director) visited a PRC in Toledo, OH and enjoyed talking with their team.
- Throughout the month of July we held a Christmas in July “sale” for all clients who attended their education appointments. They were awarded with being able to receive an item from our special gift tables. It was such a privilege getting to bless the clients with nice items donated specifically for this event.
- On August 5th, Shawn (Client Advocate Coordinator) hosted a table for the center at the Lovejoy Baby Expo.
- Several of our staff members and volunteers were invited to attend the Southwest Christian Hospice Gala and enjoyed a wonderful evening and getting to hear Zach Williams in concert.
- The end of August Niki (Nurse Manager) and Cindy (Blessing Boutique Coordinator) represented the Center at First Baptist PTC Missions Week.
