On June 8th, Mary Gray, Pregnancy Counselor with Lifeline Children’s Services, made a visit to the Center. We are always happy to see Mary and look forward to her return later this year for the annual adoption training to qualify our Center to receive the Choose Life License Plate grant.
Luci visited Harp’s Crossing Baptist Church on June 11th and spoke to the children and volunteers who attended Vacation Bible School. Luci is shown with Jennifer Dooley, Harp’s Director of Preschool and Children Ministries. Luci had a great time and was inspired by the enthusiasm of the children as they sang praises to the Lord and demonstrated what they had learned about the Gospel! We were blessed to receive donations that were collected during the week.
Due to an abundance of generous donations to our Blessing Boutique, we were able to have a special sale on June 11th that was open to our volunteers. This was a wonderful way to show our appreciation for those who give of their time and use their spiritual gifts to benefit other moms and dads. Volunteer Katie Harrison enjoyed shopping with her daughter, Millie. Also shown are Cindy Clough and Diana Guthrie, our staff members who supervise the operation of our Blessing Boutique. We are grateful for the work that our Blessing Boutique volunteers do to make this Boutique a true blessing to our clients.
On June 23rd we were blessed to have an amazing group from Woolsey Baptist Church come to the Center to do cleaning and landscaping. Their help gave us a fresh look inside and out!
