- On Saturday, May 14th, Phil Herrington (Exploring Fatherhood Coordinator) and Brad Boyd (Men’s Peer Counselor) hosted a table representing the Center at the Harp’s Crossing Baptist Church Men’s Conference. It was a wonderful and encouraging event. Phil and Brad had a lot of great conversations with men about how the Center is reaching men in our community and how they could get involved.
- On Sunday, May 22nd, Niki Garner (Nurse Manager) hosted tables for services at New City Church (both Fairburn and PTC campuses) for their services focused on the value and sanctity of Life.
- On Thursday, May 26th, Phil met with Greg Austen (Church Outreach Coordinator for Care Net) and had a wonderful and encouraging meeting learning about the ways Care Net (a pregnancy center support organization) is committed to helping to connect local churches with pregnancy center’s in their area and also sharing about what our Center is doing in the community.
- On Tuesday, May 31st, Amy and Tracy went to Covenant Presbyterian Church to meet with Pastor Jamey Lambert and have a tour of the facility as we explore some ideas for future events for our clients.
