- Throughout the month of October we enjoyed honoring the clients who were part of our education program as we celebrated the relaunch of our newly renamed women’s education program – EQUIP and added online lesson options for both men and women in special circumstances.
- On October 4th and 5th our board received training to help equip them in their role at the Center.
- On October 6th, Heather spoke at Fayetteville Christian Church.
- October 10th, we enjoyed a visit from Pastor Jamie at Covenant Presbyterian as well as Linda, a member of his congregation.
- On October 12th, Lisa – Client Advocate Coordinator, hosted a table for a community event.
- The weekend of October 19th, Heather had the opportunity to attend a special retreat for Georgia pregnancy center executive director’s. She enjoyed the opportunity to get to know some pregnancy center leaders in our state.
- On October 24th, we held an adoption training for our staff and volunteers here at the Center. We were honored to host representatives from Covenant Care Adoption Agencies who presented the training to help equip our team to have discussion about adoption with our clients. Later that same day, Heather, Angela, and Shawn attended a pro-life leaders dinner hosted by Her Plan (a community referral resource directory organization) and enjoyed getting to talk with other pro-life leaders in our community.
