September 8-11 Luci Hough and Niki Garner attended the Care Net 2020 Conference in Orlando and benefitted from the morning devotions with praise and worship, inspirational keynote speakers, and numerous educational breakout sessions. Fayette PRC is an affiliate of Care Net, a national association of life-affirming pregnancy centers. The conference ended with a fun night of celebration for the 45th anniversary of Care Net’s founding. Luci and Niki are shown in their circa-1975 outfits.
On September 11, Loren Williams, Community Relations Coordinator, visited Heritage Bank in Fayetteville for their recognition of 2020 grant recipients. Heritage Bank’s Community Foundation has generously supported our Center with grant funds for over 5 years. This year they awarded the Center with a grant of $1,800. These funds are used to purchase the car seats which are provided to expectant mothers upon the successful completion of our child safety class. This grant will benefit 40 families which is the number of moms that participate in the class each year. We deeply appreciate the continued support of Heritage Community Foundation.
