On Saturday, September 7th, a group of people from Sandy Creek Baptist Church came to assist with our Blessing Boutique season changeover.
On September 13th, we held a volunteer training class.
September 23rd-26th Heather (Executive Director), Angela (Director of Operations), and Anne (staff nurse) attended the Samaritan Summit conference in Myrtle Beach and enjoyed the opportunity to hear from leaders in the pregnancy center arena as well as attend workshops and sessions to encourage and equip us for the work God has called us to do.
In September, we held a parenting class using the Tony Evans series, Raising Kingdom Kids. The class participants earned a brand new crib and mattress.
On September 23rd, Shawn attended the Fayette Factor “Suicide Community Resilience” workshop.
